Co-curricular
Our students are engaged in a wide range of ongoing co-curricular activities, which help them develop their essential mental and physical faculties.
Purpose
Student Council gives students an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school activities and taking social service initiatives. The student council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school faculty and governing body.
Election Procedure
The KRSS Student Council is selected though a detailed process of nomination and voting. Students meeting the nominal qualification requirements can nominate themselves for various posts. Candidates get adequate opportunity to make the presentation in support of their candidature. Finally, office bearers are elected through voting.
Functions
Student Council follows the parliamentary procedures for its functions. All ideas are discussed, voted upon and then passed by the student council. Student Council is an inclusive body and seeks to involve interested non-office bearer students in event planning or becoming generally more active in the school activities.
Performing Arts
Our students learn life skills like public speaking, decision making, critical thinking through active participation in play making, dance, music and other forms of performing arts.
Sports
Sports is a part our daily routine at the school. Inter-house sports competitions and sports day are back after the pandemic. Our students also participated in the Hayathnagar inter-school athletics competition and won in several events.
Social Awareness
Our students proactively participate in walks and awareness campaigns in our neighborhood.
Inter-School Competitions
Our students are invited to participate in inter-school competitions and every time they do us proud by winning top prizes.
